ReduceToOne Terms of Service

Last updated: April 14, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ReduceToOne's website, app, and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you are using ReduceToOne on behalf of a school, club, nonprofit, business, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must provide accurate information when you create or use an account. You are responsible for:

  • maintaining the security of your account
  • all activity that occurs under your account
  • promptly notifying ReduceToOne if you believe your account has been compromised

You may not use the Service if doing so would violate applicable law, another binding agreement, or a third-party platform's rules.

2. The Service

ReduceToOne is a productivity and information aggregation service designed to help users organize events, tasks, deadlines, and updates from multiple sources, including user-created entries and third-party integrations.

The Service also uses first-party telemetry, internal analytics, and operational error logging to understand product usage, improve onboarding, and monitor reliability.

Features may change over time. Some features may be added, modified, paused, or removed without notice, especially early-stage, pilot, premium, or experimental features.

Certain features may be limited by plan, role, permissions, source trust settings, or third-party availability. If paid plans or premium features are introduced, additional commercial terms or pricing disclosures may apply.

3. Connected Accounts and Third-Party Services

The Service may allow you to connect third-party services such as Google Calendar, email forwarding, Canvas, Facebook, Instagram, or ICS calendar feeds.

By connecting a third-party service, you authorize ReduceToOne to access and process the information you choose to make available through that connection for the purpose of operating the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring that:

  • you have the right to connect the account, page, feed, or data source
  • your use of the connected service complies with that provider's rules and terms
  • any credentials, feed URLs, or school configuration details you submit are accurate and authorized
  • any emails you forward to ReduceToOne are emails you are authorized to share with the Service

ReduceToOne is not responsible for third-party outages, provider API changes, revoked permissions, platform enforcement decisions, or changes made by third-party platforms.

4. User Content

You may submit or create content in the Service, such as comments, events, group information, source information, notes, uploaded images, and configuration details ("User Content").

You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant ReduceToOne a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify, display, and process that User Content as needed to operate, improve, secure, moderate, and provide the Service.

You are responsible for your User Content and for making sure it does not violate any law or third-party rights.

5. AI-Assisted Extraction and OCR

ReduceToOne may offer AI-assisted extraction, OCR, duplicate detection, moderation aids, and trusted-source auto-publish features for event ingestion.

Those features are designed to assist with review and publishing workflows, but they may be incomplete, conservative, or wrong. You remain responsible for:

  • verifying important event details before relying on them
  • using appropriate review before publishing on behalf of a group or organization
  • making sure content you upload for OCR or extraction is content you are authorized to use

ReduceToOne may abstain, require review, or reject content rather than guessing. In the current implementation, OCR/image extraction is review-first, and auto-publish is governed by internal evidence, validator, confidence, duplicate, and source-trust rules. Auto-publish may be disabled, rolled back, or limited at any time.

6. Shared and Public Features

Some parts of the Service are designed to be visible to other users or the public, depending on how the feature is configured. For example:

  • group event comments may be visible to other authorized users
  • public group and source pages may display source and event information to visitors
  • shared group or source data may be visible to members, subscribers, admins, or viewers

Do not submit sensitive information to public or shared fields unless you intend for it to be visible in that context.

7. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to:

  • violate any law or regulation
  • infringe another person's rights
  • upload malicious code, spam, or abusive content
  • attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service in a way not authorized by ReduceToOne
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
  • use the Service to store or distribute unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or infringing content

ReduceToOne may suspend, restrict, remove content, or terminate access if we believe a user has violated these Terms or created risk for the Service or others.

8. Copyright Complaints

If you believe content available through the Service infringes your copyright, review the ReduceToOne Copyright Policy for notice instructions.

ReduceToOne may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material and may terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.

9. Accuracy and Reliance

ReduceToOne aggregates information from user submissions and third-party sources. We do not guarantee that imported, extracted, or user-submitted information is complete, current, accurate, or available at all times.

We also do not guarantee that telemetry, internal analytics, or error-monitoring systems will capture every visit, action, or failure perfectly.

You are responsible for verifying important deadlines, assignments, payments, messages, event details, and organizational announcements with the original source when accuracy matters.

ReduceToOne does not provide legal, medical, academic, financial, or emergency advice.

10. Intellectual Property and Feedback

The Service, excluding User Content and third-party content, is owned by ReduceToOne or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, ReduceToOne grants you a limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the Service for its intended purpose.

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant ReduceToOne the right to use them without restriction or compensation to you.

11. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may also delete your account using the tools made available in the Service.

ReduceToOne may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Service at any time if:

  • we believe you violated these Terms
  • your use creates security, legal, copyright, or operational risk
  • a third-party provider requires us to limit or end an integration
  • we discontinue the Service or a feature

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including sections relating to ownership, disclaimers, limits of liability, and dispute-related provisions.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REDUCETO1 DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REDUCETO1 AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REDUCETO1'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:

  • the amount you paid to ReduceToOne for the Service during the 12 months before the claim arose
  • USD $100

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

14. Changes to the Service or Terms

ReduceToOne may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the date above and take additional notice steps where required.

Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Separate Agreements

If you or your organization have signed a separate written agreement with ReduceToOne, that agreement will control to the extent it conflicts with these Terms.
